Returns Policy

You may return our products in their new, unopened condition within 14 days of delivery for a full refund.
Please see below for information on how to return a product, how to package the return and how we process your refund.

Incorrect product delivered

Should we accidently deliver the wrong product to you or if the product is not as described on the website,or is missing / broken parts:
  • Please do not remove the product from its original packaging or any of the stickers or labels.
  • Notify us immediately and we will collect the product from you at no charge.

We will deliver the correct product to you as soon as possible, if the product is still available, or if not, issue a refund via EFT transfer into cheque/savings/current accounts only - no credit cards).
Please note that a refund is not available if the product was received as a gift.

Products arrived damaged

If your products arrive damaged, missing any parts or accessories, or inoperable, then we will do our best to resolve the issue. Please notify us within 7 days by emailing us with the following details to assess where in the delivery process the damage may have occurred:
  • A photograph of the outer box (including whether it has a Fragile sticker or not)
  • Photograph of the inside of the box, including the inner packaging; and
  • Photograph of the damaged product.

If necessary, we will arrange collection of the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product or photographs and validated your return (if needed), we will, according to your preference:
  • Replace the product (if available) or
  • Issue a refund via EFT transfer into cheque/savings/current accounts only - no credit cards.

Please note that a refund is not available if the product was received as a gift.

Returns of unwanted products

A customer may return unwanted products within 14 days of delivery according to our returns procedure below
(Also see “4. How to return a product” below)
  • We will refund the full price of any unwanted products in their original unopened packaging (via EFT transfer into cheque/savings/current accounts only - no credit cards). For opened products, we may deduct or charge a reasonable amount for any use of the products plus certain cost necessary for repackaging and restocking, subject to the CPA. These costs are usually up to 25% of the cost of the product.

How to return a product

You may drop off the product at our nearest store. There are no costs associated with this.

You may choose a collection date and the product will be collected from you. We may charge a fee for this service.

How to package a product you want to return

  1. The product being returned must be packed, in its original packagingincluding all accessories and instruction sheets.
  2. In another box with as much padding and protective packaging as possibleso that it can travel safely back to us.

Returns that are sent back otherwise will have a 10% repackaging fee levied against them. If the returning product has not been packaged properly and is damaged, then we simply cannot give you a refund. It is your responsibility to package the product correctly.

Warranty and Repairs

Unless otherwise stated, all products sold by Zebbies Lighting are covered by a one-year warranty, reckoned from the date of purchase, to protect you against manufacturing defect only.Where a product is defective it is the responsibility of the customer to return the product at his or her own risk and expense to Zebbies Lighting. Zebbies Lighting will facilitate the repair or replacement and then ship the product back to the customer, bearing all risks and costs. Zebbies Lighting is not obliged to repair products that fall outside of the warranty period, or products that are damaged accidentally.

Stock Availability

Stock of all products on offer are limited. Zebbies Lighting shall take all reasonable efforts to discontinue the offer as soon as stock is no longer available. However, should products still be offered after the products are out of stock, Zebbies Lighting shall only be liable to refund monies where it is unable to fulfil orders at advertised prices. Where goods are advertised as having an estimated delivery time, or are on backorder, Zebbies Lighting is not responsible for delays on these estimates. These estimates are merely guidelines and may shift with stock availability and supplier scheduling.
