THE CORRECT HEIGHT TO HANG YOUR FITTINGS

You’ve found the fitting of your dreams, but how do you display them?
Pendants and chandeliers come in a massive variety of shapes and sizes making the task of hanging them a challenge.
We’ve got a few recommendations on how high your hanging fittings should be placed around the home.

Dining Tables

For dining room tables, we generally recommend leaving approximately 85-90cm between the bottom of your fitting and the surface of your dining table. Keep in mind that the width of your fitting should be at least 15cm narrower than your table on all sides.

Kitchen Islands

When installing multiple hanging lights over a kitchen island, there should be at least 15cm between the widest part of each fitting. We recommend leaving approximately 90-105cm between the bottom of your fitting and the surface of your island or work surface.

Open Spaces

When hanging fittings in an open space, the fitting should comfortably clear the threshold of any adjacent doors or heads passing underneath! We recommend hanging the fitting at a minimum of 2,1m between the bottom of your fitting and the floor.

Bedside

When hanging a fitting bedside, there should be between 48-60cm from the bottom of the fitting and your bedside table.
